Danvers Baillieu is the senior associate with international law firm Pinsent Masons LLP, who specialises in representing technology companies.
He is also a co-founder of Bootlaw, a free monthly meetup for entrepreneurs and tech companies, which has over 700 subscribers on meetup.com. Danvers advises companies on fundraising and corporate issues and has been recognised for this work by the Legal 500 (2010 edition). He also advises on contractual and other commercial issues relating to technology companies and has been ranked by Chambers and Partners (2011 edition) as an “Associate to Watch” in the Information Technology section.
On behalf of Bootlaw, Danvers recently collected first prize for Start up Advisor of 2010 at Techcrunch’s Europa Awards. Well known clients include the Financial Times and United Business Media as well as start ups including Secret Sales, Keynoir, Citysocialising, Semetric, Tweetminster, Specle and Zoombu.
