Iain is the UK and Ireland country manager for Amazon Web Services.
Iain’s background is in software development. He started writing complex real-time software applications before he moved to Rational Software where he spent 15 years. The final 3 years were spent at IBM after the acquisition of Rational Software. Iain was the executive in charge of IBM Rational’s 400 strong solution architecture and services team in Europe.
Upon leaving IBM, Iain spent 3 years advising clients on how to productize, monetize and apply licensing technology to their intellectual property. Iain worked with many well know electronic, media and software brands around the world before joining Amazon Web Services in early 2009.
