Mark is a leading digital and social media executive.

He is currently Commercial and Strategy director at Rippll, a leading location based marketing solutions company and over the past year has been a senior strategic advisor to organizations including: Endemol, Brightroll, Gomix, Habit Industries, and Thisisopen.

Prior to Rippll, Mark was VP Global Sales at Bebo. He joined in 2006 as its first commercial employee globally and went on to devise and implement the company’s pioneering commercial models for advertising; Engagement Marketing, rising to become global vice president off sales and driving expansion into Asia, Europe and the US. He broke new ground with Bebo’s first and Bafta nominated Original Production KateModern creating a unique platform for agencies and client site marketers to effectively engage with Bebo’s audiences. Mark was also part of the management team that led Bebo’s record-breaking acquisition $850 million to AOL Time Warner.

Mark’s experience spans more than 15 years living and working across multiple geographies, during which he has held key senior management positions in leading technology and Internet companies. He was the Head of EMEA Regional Sales for MSN, where in 3 years he was responsible for creating and building the pan-regional sales business, leading MSN to establish similar teams in Asia, Latin America and the US; Head of Sales at Lycos UK and Global Sales Executive at Business News America, based in Chile.

Mark is a keen outdoor & adventure enthusiast and has climbed over 10 4000mtr peaks, in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, run marathons (New York, Stockholm & Amsterdam) and completed several long distance bike events for charitable projects in the UK such as Help the Aged, Macmillan Cancer support, and the British Heart Foundation.
